Hi everyone!
I'm currently in Kenya (East Africa) and I've created my first blog to share my experiences with everyone. I've already posted twice and I'll be posting even more pictures later today.
I'll be in the field a lot. Just yesterday I visited an abandon baby center (most of the kids were abandoned b/c their mothers have HIV/aids). The organization I'm with (Humanity Unites Brilliance) is making a real difference here.
You'll get to see it all. Sign up for the blog (or just check it out) if you're interested!
Love you guys!

Hi guys! I was able to get internet access again and posted many more pictures and information about my trip. This is really amazing!
To answer your question, the trip actually doesn't have anything to do with my newfound masters in Spiritual Psychology... it's in conjunction with an organization called Humanity Unites Brilliance (HUB).
Great to be back in the swing of communication with all of you!

| I know this is off the track of your reasons for going to Kenya, but I'm curious if there is any interest in the U.S. election since Barack Obama's father was a native Kenyan? |

Hi Elizabeth!
It's been a while since I communicated with you, but I have not forgotten about you!
Congrats on your endeavors and projects involving the people in East Africa. I really enjoyed reading your blog and the pictures are outstanding. Of course, it is heartbreaking when you mentioned about the infants and how their moms are inflicted with the terrible diseases of HIV and AIDS. You always have your thoughts and prayers for the moms and anyone else dealing with this devastating situation. Still, the infants deserve hope and a chance for a long and wonderful life and we all hope they have one.
You are such a wonderful humanitarian and it is no wonder that people always think so highly of you. You are a kind and caring person and again, what a bright and successful human being you are as well.
You have always given everything your best and all the accolades that you get are well-deserved.
I hope you continue to keep up the wonderful work and I hope that your journey has continued to be successful and above all, safe!
Of course, I hope that President-elect Obama can help turn things around with our country as well as our world! I know you mentioned that his dad was from Kenya and you hope that those people will achieve the same kind of goals that you and Barack have achieved.
Anyway, take care and keep up the great work. Rob Flanagan continues to do well here in Texas and I keep in touch with him from time to time.
Well, anyway, speak to you soon and if I don't communicate with you before Thanksgiving, I want to wish you and your family and friends a very Happy and Healthy Thanksgiving Holiday.
