Well:

Happened to be watching CNBC Tuesday afternoon, and for the first time since she was hired by CNBC early this year I actually saw Rebecca do a report.

Was she perfect? No, but this was from my understanding just the second time she's been on camera since she came aboard CNBC. She was going slower than those of us who watch CNBC normally are used to, but really didn't make any serious flubs either.

Overall, her performance was what you'd probably expect for someone who has only been on camera in this kind of an environment a couple of times. She'll probably get better with more camera time, especially since we do have to remember she's still only 24-25.

An update:

Saw Rebecca again a short time ago on CNBC's Power Lunch, and she clearly showed a ton of improvement of the earlier times I saw her. She will likely continue to improve as we continue to see her.

Looks like this was a great move by CNBC! Very Happy

She is:

Saw her again today (Friday, during Closing Bell), and while she did make one minor flub (the kind almost every reporter or anchor has made at one time or another), she was fine and is continuing to get better.

This was a long-term project in bringing Rebecca over to CNBC, and while not perfect now I think she will continue to get better as she continues to appear. What I love is those over at Survivor S**** who constantly call her awful and want to see her out of there.

Well:

Just saw Rebecca on Squwak Box (CNBC's morning show) for the first time, and she did very well on that.

She really has improved noticably each time I've seen her on CNBC, and really did well this morning. I understand she's also now starting to appear in CNBC segments that appear on the various local morning newscasts around the country as well as occasionally on MSNBC doing brief updates when MSNBC is not doing live news.

Let me know if she comes on at any specific (regular) time. I'd love to watch.

Elizabeth:

Rebecca doesn't have any set time at the moment, and I haven't seen her all that much there (relatively speaking as I do watch CNBC a lot), however, others have seen her on MSNBC, including one on another board who noted she has on occasion being doing the news updates during their prime-time show block for instance.

I would suspect she would be on tomorrow (Friday) as a lot of people are away and it's not a full day on the markets (which close at 1:00 PM ET/10:00 AM PT tomorrow). Otherwise, you'd just have to for now look for her to pop up at times unannounced.

Another update:

Today (Friday 11/24), Rebecca is apparently going to be handling day-long reporting duties from the NASDAQ site in Times Square for CNBC, so you'll be able to see her there all day.

Be aware this is a half-day of trading, so the market closes at 1:00 PM ET/10:00 AM PT today!

Another Update:

Rebecca was on CNBC again Thursday morning (11/30), this time on Morning Call reporting on retail sales. She continues to avoid making flubs that most anchors and reporters (even the best) manage to make at one time or another, and I think that's noticiable as Rebecca continues to be seen more and more with the bigger players on CNBC.

Looks like that will be even more so as we move into the holiday season.

Still yet another update:

Just a heads-up that Rebecca is on CNBC again today (Friday 12/1), this time reporting live from the NASDAQ site in Times Square. She is apparently going to be on from there most, if not all of today as I saw her on the 9:00 AM Eastern Time update from there.

Another update:

Rebecca continues to be on frequently from the NASDAQ, and that could wind up becoming a regular gig for now for her. She continues to improve, and should continue as she continues to get more face time.

Another Update:

Rebecca was at the NASDAQ once again this morning on the very first trading day of 2007. Perhaps we are going to for now see her from there on a regular basis?

It is nice to see Rebecca get more air time. She has really improved since the first time I watched her.

She has improved noticably (even if some who seem to hate Rebecca on other boards refuse to notice). She has made a few minor flubs, but no more than anyone else who has worked the NASDAQ site that can move pretty quick at times. You can easily forget she is only 25 and is doing a job most on CNBC don't get to do until they reach their early 30s.

If she continues to do well, I would not be surprised if we start seeing Rebecca occasionally working on the floor of the NYSE during CNBC programming and also occasionally anchoring the US portion of Worldwide Exchange, CNBC's business news show that airs throughout the world (here from 4:00-6:00 AM ET/1:00-3:00 AM PT), especially during the summer.

Another update:

Rebecca seems to be getting on CNBC every day now in some capacity, and I suspect we will seen her even more in the future.

An update:

Saw Rebecca today (Friday 2/9) from the New York Merchintile Exchange on CNBC. It seems for now she is mainly filling in for whoever is off doing various roles in a rotation.

An update on Rebecca:

On Friday morning, for I believe the first time she anchored the US part of Worldwide Exchange, CNBC's early-morning newscast that originates from Singapore, London and New York and airs at 4:00 AM ET/1:00 AM PT. The show was very early when I wrote this, and I believe is the first time she has anchored any broadcast on CNBC. She looks to be doing a very good job for the brief period I saw her (first half-hour of the broadcast), especially for the first time doing this particular role.

Rebecca also looks a bit different as she is sporting a new haircut that has her hair about shoulder length. She also continues to mainly rotate between the NASDAQ, NYMEX and doing the top-of-the-hour updates during the business day on CNBC that many of CNBC's main anchors and reporters rotate doing.

Another update on Rebecca:

This morning (Wednesday, January 2), she is co-anchoring Squwak Box, CNBC's main morning show that runs from 6:00-9:00 AM New York Time. She had only been on a few minutes when I wrote this.

She seems to be handling this quite well so far. Very Happy

Interesting that her bio on CNBC doesn't mention TA.

I know, and in fact, I'm surprised CNBC has not taken advantage of Rebecca being a former candidate and having her host the repeats on CNBC, unless she is so busy with her other work it is impossible for her to do that.

Rebecca is making it on her own merit anyway. Sure, the show helped, but she probably would have found her way to CNBC at some point anyway (and when I do see her there, I have to remind myself she is only 26 as she sounds like she's been there for a long time now and I believe she is the only woman currently at CNBC who is in her 20s (I believe all of the other women at CNBC are in their 30s or older).

Haven't updated this in some time:

Over the past year, Rebecca has been steadily gaining more airtime on CNBC in general, and especially since the financial crisis started has become even more of a serious presence, including from time-to-time actually appearing in brief segments on the TODAY show on NBC as well (where she is identified as "CNBC's Rebecca Jervis").

Rebecca also has a new I am CNBC commercial currently airing. Notable in her bio is no mention of her time on The Apprentice.

Have not been here in some time, so to update:

Rebbeca left CNBC during the fall of 2009 and has not resurfaced anywhere since.
